Product information
To preserve the beneficial properties of the pure, natural ingredients, Mwani Zanzibar soaps are cold processed and undergo a nine-week maturation process, resulting in a wonderfully gentle soap.
The Mwani Zanzibar seaweed, hand-picked by the mothers at low tide, is rich in minerals, amino acids and fatty acids.
It is blended with unrefined beeswax from local mangrove forests, which is rich in natural fatty acids and vitamin A. The addition of freshly pressed coconut oil helps to soothe and moisturize the skin, while lemongrass acts as a natural antiseptic, and cinnamon and turmeric promote blood circulation and calm irritated skin.
All ingredients are freshly harvested, cut and prepared by hand on our island of Zanzibar.
